Custom GREEN Anodized Titanium Axis Lock Bar to fit the
Benchmade 940-1, 940-2, 940, 943 Series Knives. (plus many others as well)
The 940-2 factory Axis lock is not titanium.
Upgrade the standard axis lock to an ANODIZED GREEN Rust Proof Titanium Axis Lock.
Not only do they look great but they are also lighter than the factory standard version.
This Custom Titanium Axis Lock Bar is a direct replacement for the Benchmade 940 Series Knives.

What is included in this sale is only 1 x Titanium Axis Lock to fit the original
Benchmade 940-2 knife. Consisting of 1 x GREEN Anodized part in total.
Anodizing Notes:
Green is the hardest color to anodize, this color can vary on single parts to full sets from a Blue Green to a Yellow Green color.
I
have almost perfected it and I will try my best to keep the color as
consistent as possible within any set purchased as many things affect
it.
Like ambient temperature, age of chemical mix, length of time anodizing, voltage, pre-cleaning procedure, voltage contact etc.
(I am often re-doing it a few times to get it right, or wasting parts
or throwing away parts in the process, it can easily take around 2 hours
per set to get right)
Green
is also very hard to capture on a photograph as it's true color may
look different under different lighting conditions or on different
angles.

take this a general color range only. As in real life it looks brighter
due to titanium's metallic surface reflecting through the color
This color is also NOT guaranteed to match any stock Benchmade aluminum scales or standoffs.

to order
ALL the 940-1 parts at the same
time. So it will be in the same anodizing batch and match much better than if ordered at a later date.

CAREFUL NOT TO LOSE THERE WILL ALSO BE A SLIGHT COMPROMISE IN BLADE OPENING SMOOTHNESS FROM THE BY PURCHASING THIS ITEM YOU ARE AWARE OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED AND THAT DAMAGE IF YOU ARE NOT CONFIDENT IN TAKING APART AND PUTTING YOUR
KNIFE BACK TOGETHER (OR IF ANYTHING ELSE GOES WRONG), IT IS BEST NOT TO BUY THIS

THESE SPRINGS AS THEY ARE VITAL FOR A FUNCTIONING AXIS
LOCK.
TITANIUM PART RUBBING ON THE BLADE TANG AREA. POSSIBLY LUBE OR POLISHING THE
TANG CAN HELP. THE AXIS LOCK BAR COMES ALREADY POLISHED TO A SMOOTH SURFACE.
OR THE
POTENTIAL FOR MISSING PARTS COULD OCCUR AS A RESULT OF TAKING OUT THE
ORIGINAL AXIS LOCK BAR. YOU ALONE WILL BE TAKING FULL RESPONSIBLY FOR ANY SUCH
DAMAGE OR LOSS. (THE BENCHMADE WARRANTY MIGHT NOT COVER THESE TYPES OF

To install this Custom Titanium part, good quality Torx tools will be needed. (Such as Wiha Torx tools)
this is only just the oil from your hands. If the oil has been cleaned off the color will come back.
Use acetone or nail polish remover to clean the oil off the anodized surface.
The custom anodizing will look new again!

Anodized Titanium Cleaning Tip:
To maintain the look of your new titanium parts.
Wipe clean with some Acetone but at the same time
be careful NOT to get Acetone on any G10 or Carbon knife scales.
