Custom 9 Piece PURPLE Anodized Titanium Torx Screw Set
to fit Spyderco MANIX 2 & MANIX 2 XL (G10) Series Knives.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS SET ONLY FITS THE MANIX 2 THAT USES G10 SCALES.
(WILL NOT FIT THE MANIX 2 LIGHTWEIGHT VERSION)
The factory standard torx screws are not titanium.
They might get rounded, threaded or simply get lost over time.
Upgrade the standard torx screws, to a set of rust proof Custom Titanium Torx Screws anodized in PURPLE.
Please note: No knives pictured are for sale.
What is included in this sale is only the 9 piece set of Titanium Screws to fit the original
Spyderco Manix 2 knife. Consisting of only 9 x PURPLE Anodized screws in total.
This 9 Piece set includes the following titanium screws:
2 x T10 Torx PURPLE Titanium Pivot Screws
4 x T8 Torx PURPLE Titanium Body Screws
3 x T6 Torx PURPLE Titanium Pocket Clip Screws *
* Longer than standard Pocket Clip screws available for
Deep Carry thicker pocket clips or thicker aftermarket scales. Just ask!
MARCH 2020 UPDATE:
RE-DESIGNED THE POCKET CLIP SCREWS.
THEY ARE NOW SLIGHTLY LONGER THAN THE STOCK ONES.
SO IT CAN BE USED WITH BOTH STOCK AND THICKER AFTERMARKET DEEP CARRY POCKET CLIPS.
WHEN USING WITH THE STOCK POCKET CLIP IT WILL POKE OUT OF THE LINERS A TINY BIT.
NOT ENOUGH TO HIT THE BLADE THOUGH. MOST PEOPLE ARE UPGRADING THEIR POCKET CLIPS
SO THIS IS WHY THE IT HAS NOW BEEN MADE LONGER OTHERWISE THE STOCK ONES ARE TOO SHORT.

These Custom Titanium Torx screws are a direct replacement for the Spyderco Manix 2 knives.
These custom parts are not designed to fit Cloned or Fake Spyderco knives.
Do not buy these parts for any cloned or fake knives as they probably won't fit.
THEN DECIDED TO RE-DESIGN THE SET AGAIN TO BE STRONGER.

Please note: These custom screws were extremely hard to make.
It took many production runs and a very long time to get it to this stage.
This is as good as I can get it, as it is very hard to hold when machining
because of the thin angled edge on the countersunk screw head.
Please be aware that the screw's head may stick out from the scale
by a very, very tiny little amount. As shown in the ebay photos attached.
The G10 scale can be possibly countersunk a little be more to fix this.
However by purchasing this set you are aware of this. (2018 UPDATE = NOW FIXED)
2018 UPDATE: These are now perfect!!!

It has taken around 5 Generations and at least 3 years to get it to this stage.
2017 UPDATE: These screws were machined to fit perfectly with every allowable tolerance however it was a bit too thin
and caused it to break when torqued down hard. Had to scrap them and re-design. (2018 UPDATE = NOW FIXED)
2015 UPDATE: So many trial runs and bad batches. (didn't even list it up on ebay).

Installation Notes:
The Manix 2 knife can be quite tricky to take apart and put together compared to other knives.
Please do not purchase this set if you are not confident in taking your Manix 2 apart and putting it back together.
Even tuning the tightness of the Manix 2 body screws can effect the pivot opening performance.
The original Manix 2 screws can be quite hard to remove. Please watch some youtube videos beforehand to
see how it is done. The factory loctite thread glue can make the screws hard to get out too causing the Torx head to strip.
Before installation of these titanium screws. Please clean and remove all existing factory loctite glue.
Also use some Good strong quality Torx tools to (Such as Wiha Torx tools).
Other Notes:
Other colors such as: purple, yellow, Copper, maroon, raw titanium, light blue, brass, dark blue, bronze, gold etc.
Once you have received a colored titanium item. It may appear to have lost color once touched,
this is just the oil from your hands. If the oil been cleaned off the color will come back. See cleaning tip below.

International orders are sent via Airmail and usually take around 2 or 3 weeks to arrive to you.
However orders can take to longer to arrive depending on your country's air mailing delivery system.
Please do not buy if you cannot agree to this. All International items are sent via Airmail with tracking.

assume the knife is also included. I am just trying to make my listing as clear as possible that NO KNIVES ARE INCLUDED.

Anodized Titanium Cleaning Tip:
To maintain the look of your new titanium parts.
Wipe clean with some Acetone but at the same time
be careful NOT to get Acetone on the G10 or Carbon knife scales.
(Windex can also work too as a safer option)
